Hi, all. I've been doing some thinking lately about how I've really neglected the portfolio site I worked so hard a few years ago to write the raw code for. I might consider all that work just so much wasted time, although it was a good crash course in perl. Anyway, since that has sort of become a secondary item on my to-do list, it occurred to me that there were probably much better ways of archiving and presenting my portfolio of artworks online that didn't take so much time to maintain.
Plus, now I have an extra thingy to put on my nin.com profile so I look like that much more of an internet addict.
That's kind of sad if I think about it too much.
Anyway, I'm going to get all of my stuff transfered over here and then get all of the things I've created in the last two or three years added, and just use this as my portfolio instead of the cumbersome database thing I made myself.
No promises on how long this is going to take.
But hey, a big thanks for the ego boost to the people who added my first few works to their favorites within minutes of my first uploads. Cool!
