The full title of this piece is actually "Sightseeing France No. 2 -- Chambord," but I couldn't fit it all in here.
This series is based off of photos that I took while in France on a college trip in 1997. (Thus the title.) After doing the first piece in the series, I let the idea sit for a while as I focused on some other ideas floating around in my brain. By the time I picked it back up, I'd gotten better at my technique, and I think the image comes together better here than my first attempt -- the details are more evident, and the colors work together better. You can even tell it was a cloudy, rainy day when I took the photo.
